About the video: “Portrait of an Artist: Part I. Alexandra Citrin” is a documentary video piece that looks at the processes, works, and lives of student artists at Skidmore. Alex Citrin is a junior majoring in art. She addresses what it means to put a piece of herself not only in her art but on display.

This video was conceived, shot, edited, and produced by Skidmore junior Sarah Venable Burns. This is the first in a series of six planned documentaries. Thanks to Alexandra Citrin for her participation.
