The long-awaited opening of the new Arthur Zankel Music Center became truly official with the first class on January 25, 2010, at 9:15 am in room 215. Appropriately, the music theory class was taught by Professor Charles M. Joseph, who first championed the idea of enhanced music facilities back in the mid-1980s. Off camera, professor Joseph allowed that it was richly rewarding for him to teach the first class. Some things are meant to be!
